Maths Investigation

In Rimu this week I we were doing rotational symmetry  and reflective symmetry. To show that I understand what I have been learning, I took a photo of my work. Our teachers instructed us to post this on are blogs. I had to make a pattern 36 squares in total with the same part of the pattern on the other side. My strategy was to make sure my shapes all could rotate and reflect. I hope you enjoy.
The shapes are there mostly to go with my answers.

  1. Hi Ian,
Thank you for sharing your learning. Your final picture shows that you understand reflective symmetry. Remember that we share our learning so others can give us feedback, teach others something or to publish our work. We do it to improve our work and learning. It is powerful and wonderful, and that is why your teachers 'make you'.

  2. Thanks for telling me this Mrs S. And I will take that advice for the rest of my blog.
